Best books I read this year (2017)

Last year I read 50+ books and it was a great thing because I've learned some good life lessons. This year however I decided to go on information diet.
The main reason was to have enough time to digest what I’m reading and transform all that knowledge in practice.

Speed reading isn’t the best way to accumulate knowledge. If you want to have a better understanding you’ll have also take better notes and revisit them periodically.

So here are my pickings for this year.

The Last Lion 1: Visions of Glory 1874-1932 by William Manchester
The Last Lion 2: Alone, 1932-40 by William Manchester
The Last Lion 3: Defender of the Realm, 1940-1965 by William Manchester
